How to Use Self-Improving FAQs in Nexus AI
Self-Improving FAQs help Nexus AI get smarter from real customer conversations across SMS, Web Chat, and Voice.
When Nexus receives a question it cannot answer confidently, it can save that gap as a suggested FAQ. You can review the suggestion, add the right answer, and approve it. Once approved, the answer is added to your Nexus FAQ library so future customers can receive a better response automatically.

Turn On Self-Improving FAQs
- Go to Nexus > Settings.
- Find Enable Self-Improving FAQs.
- Turn the setting on.
- Enter the email address of the person who should receive FAQ suggestion emails.
- Save your settings.

Review FAQ Suggestions
When Nexus finds unanswered questions, you can review them from the FAQ tab.
- Go to Nexus.
- Open the FAQs tab.
- Look for the Self-Improving FAQs review banner.
- Click Review.
- Approve, edit, or dismiss each suggestion.

Note: The review banner only appears when Self-Improving FAQs are enabled and there are pending suggestions to review.
Reply by Email
If FAQ suggestion emails are enabled, Nexus sends a daily email to the configured recipient when there are new suggestions.
To add an answer:
- Open the FAQ suggestion email.
- Reply with the answer in your own words.
- Nexus adds the answer to your FAQ library automatically.
What Happens After Approval
Once a suggested FAQ is approved, Nexus can use that answer in future SMS, Web Chat, and Voice conversations.
This helps your AI Receptionist improve over time without requiring you to dig through call logs or manually search for missed questions.
Best Practices
- Review suggestions regularly.
- Keep answers short, clear, and customer-friendly.
- Use the same wording your team would use with a real customer.
- Dismiss suggestions that are irrelevant, one-off, or not useful for future customers.
- Update your FAQ library when business policies, pricing, hours, or services change.
Who Receives FAQ Suggestion Emails?
The recipient is controlled in Nexus > Settings.
When Enable Self-Improving FAQs is turned on, an email field appears. The email address entered there receives FAQ suggestion emails.
